FASHION FREEDOM

When it was announced that Chanel was introducing a major bag line after over three seasons, fashionable set the world over were thrilled to meet the next big thing after “The Boy”.

The Gabrielle -- consisting of a family of hobos, backpacks, shopping bags and purses -- is high up there on attention-grabbing style, versatility and fun. Inspired by accessories spotted on men at the racecourse, the Gabrielle gives women the freedom to style the bag as they please.

We can definitely see the former convent girl Coco Chanel giving her stamp of approval on this one!

Get swept up into the romance and rebel heart of the iconic fashion founder with the Gabrielle Chanel perfume, the luxury house’s first major fragrance in 15 years.

At a glance, the flacon looks noticeably similar to the classic No 5 but upon closer inspection, it appears much sleeker and modern. It took years to create the perfectly square bottle with flawless transparency and brilliance.

A floral foray of orange blossom, ylang-ylang, jasmine and Grasse tuberose, the perfume by Olivier Polge is not overtly feminine but has the right mix of bouquet and musky accord.

This heady scent sure got our pulse racing. All in all, it’s a distilled essence of everything Coco Chanel truly stood for - rebel, desire, conquer, love, dare, create.
