Named after the year 1962, the year of their creation, and 2022, the pumps combine heritage and innovation. They are adorned with elaborate embroidery and technical elements inspired by research from D-Air lab, an Italian start-up founded in 2015 and led by architect Silvia Dainese Gris.

Dior ateliers meticulously applied mimosa flowers to each model, extending the ornament to the heel. Pearls with a coral motif also extend in a fringe on the toe of the shoe, and on the transparent fishnet base are glistening turquoise stones.

The high-tech strap, which comes from the world of motorcycling, wraps around the ankle. It is made of ultralight neoprene and has a fastening system with fluorescent yellow stitching.
