Leather is back! But then again, has it ever really left? This trend continues into the new season, but aside from classic black options, consider brighter shades like green and plum to add some jazz to your wardrobes.

Stop traffic—literally—in the hottest colour trend from Copenhagen Fashion Week. Orange might have taken the backseat for a few seasons, but it’s proudly reclaiming its spot in the limelight this season. Make a statement with an all-over orange look, right down to your accessories, or clash the brilliant shade with an unexpected shade (like an emerald green) for a truly refreshing take on the trend.

The bralette trend is continuing its reign on the street style scene (did we not call it when we said it was going to be one of the hottest trends this year?) and no one has done it better than the show goers at Copenhagen Fashion Week. Take a leaf from their book: start with a co-ordinating look, then break it apart with a contrasting bralette for the best effect.

Talk about unexpected—shorts are making a comeback this season! Here’s how to pull them off now: opt for an oversized shirt and either 1) tuck it fully into your shorts for a put together silhouette, or 2) leave the shirt half-tucked for a casual insouciance. Other ways to wear the trend include tone-on-tone styling, or pairing your oversized shirt with a fitted vest.

Power pantsuits are back and better than ever—the best examples we saw at Copenhagen Fashion Week all had several key points of differentiation. Firstly, they were all coordinating colour sets; secondly, unexpected materials like linen, leather or fully sequinned injected a sense of fun into the business staple; and lastly, oversized tailoring (read: comfortable) was a top focus. Keep these in mind when shopping for your new power look of the season.
