Fendi’s latest charitable initiative involves a creative collaboration in celebration of the iconic bag

Fendi, the renowned Italian fashion house is celebrating their 50th anniversary in Japan by embarking upon a special project celebrating their popular Peekaboo bag by bringing together five talented individuals, who are all leaders in their respective fields and who embody Japan’s creative and innovative spirit, to create a one-of-a-kind Peekaboo handbag that will be sold at auction.

Having worked closely with Fendi to create unique Peekaboo handbags, a few of the collaborators include Vogue Japan creative consultant, Anna Dello Russo, and contemporary artist Fuyuko Matsui, and artist Hiroko Takahashi, along with the President of Tokyo University of the Arts Ryohei Miyata.

These Peekaboo bags will be auctioned online starting from April 20 to May 20, 2015 with all the profits gained donated to the Tokyo University of the Arts, to support younger generations in the field of art, design, and fashion. The auction is a rare opportunity to bid on one of the unique handbags and purchase the ultimate collector’s piece.
