Academy award winner and Roger Vivier ambassador Laura Dern starred in the brand’s latest Vivier Express Icons campaign wearing pieces from the brand and embodying the essence of the Viv’ Choc handbag.
2. Blackpink’s Jennie drops collection with Gentle Monster
Glasses brand Gentle Monster announced a collaboration with Blackpink’s Jennie, called Jentle Salon. The collection will consist of sunglasses and reading frames featuring charms and details such as bows. It will be available to shop online and in store on May 1.
3. Miu Miu tops the Lyst Index in Q1 2024
The Lyst Index released its Q1 2024 report—and Miu Miu topped the chart as the most popular brand with an 8 per cent increase in searches since the beginning of the year. Prada, followed by Loewe, Bottega Veneta and Saint Laurent round off the top five.
4. JJ Lin and other Chinese stars attend Shanghai Formula 1 Grand Prix
At the Shanghai Formula 1 Grand Prix over the weekend, Chinese stars including JJ Lin, Daniel Wu and Hannah Quinlivan were present to celebrate Stake F1 team driver Zhou Guanyu’s home race.

First launched in 2015, Louis Vuitton’s Colour Blossom collection introduces the Amazonite stone into its designs. The minty blue-green colouring has been incorporate alongside mother of pearl, malachite, cornelian and onyx and fashioned into the two flowers of the iconic LV Monogram for bracelets and necklaces.
6. Simon Porte Jacquemus welcomes twins with partner
Jacquemus designers Simon Porte Jacquemus announced the arrival of twins, named Mia and Sun, with his partner Marco Maestri in an Instagram post.
7. Chow Tai Fook celebrates 95th anniversary with Rouge collection

Chow Tai Fook released its Rouge collection in celebration of the jewellery brand’s 95th anniversary. Pieces include necklaces, bracelets and rings featuring the Chinese character 福, meaning blessings and fortune, in shades of red.

Hermès Beauty launched its Rouge Amazone lipstick, a limited-edition red shade with an image by Alfred de Dreux, Duc attelé, engraved on the bullet. The lipstick will available to shop online and in store from May 1.
9. Hong Kong brand M19Minus opens first shop at K11 Musea
M19Minus, the Hong Kong-based beauty brand, opened its first shop in the city at K11 Musea. The bright red space is as attractive as the packaging of the brand’s skincare and bodycare ranges.

Jewellery brand Chaumet has appointed actor Yosh Yu as its new brand ambassador for the China region. The actor is also a brand ambassador for the likes of Dior, Hublot and Guerlain.
11. Frédéric Malle releases fragrance with Acne Studios
French fragrance brand Frédéric Malle released its newest scent in collaboration with Acne Studios—a first for the Swedish fashion label. The new perfume contains floral notes, vanilla and musk.
Amalissa Hall was the style writer at Tatler Hong Kong. Primarily focused on writing digital articles, she covers news, tracks trends and interviews experts from the fashion, beauty and wellness industries, as well as entertainment spheres. Interview highlights include Formula One driver Alex Albon, award-winning costume designer Jany Temime and prolific make-up artist Lisa Eldridge.
She has also produced print stories featuring make-up artists, perfumiers and other upcoming figures discussing Asian representation on social media, sharing industry insight and trends as well as explaining new approaches to wellness in Hong Kong.
