The versatility of a pantsuit is what the chic mother-of-3 swears by to get her effortlessly from school runs to cocktail parties.
A haircut was all it took to convince trendsetter Datin Sri Linda Chen that she needed a wardrobe redux. Along with the locks sliced off to make way for a chic bob, a youthful air replaced the mature image that the mother-of-3 confesses didn’t represent her character.
“My current look is edgier and is inspired by street style,” Linda says, running her hand over her current favourite item, a denim jacket by cult streetwear label Off-White. Her outfit du jour is usually a Gucci shirt and sneakers by adidas Yeezy, a far cry from the towering stilettoes she wears for more formal and dressy events.
But that’s not to say that the wife of Dato' Sri Daniel Chiang has boycotted her ultra-glam style altogether. “I love Carolina Herrera and Ivan Young for their evening gowns but I think the pantsuit is my default outfit as it goes with my new hair style,” she tells, before divulging her fashion favourites.

1. From Lady-Like To Casual Chic
I used to go for the very tai-tai and Chanel look but since I cut my hair short for the very first time in my life last year, I decided to revamp my wardrobe completely. I couldn’t carry off that lady-like look with my short hair so I changed everything and opted for an edgy streetwear look. I enjoy fashion but I don’t chase after trends. I veer towards classic and everlasting looks and I love British designers and London style. Over the last two years, my day-to-day dressing is comfy and casual – usually an oversized jacket paired with T-shirt and jeans, shorts or skirt with trainers.
