From haute heels to the business of luxury retail, Anita Manglani is set on reaching new heights.

Anita Manglani always looks like a million dollars and sometimes, a billion. Beyond the fact that her wardrobe resembles a sartorial vault—it’s filled with bespoke and limited edition creations—she carries herself with a cool assertiveness that’s reflected in her work ethic. Born and raised in Russia, she graduated from Moscow State University in 2013 before pursuing a course in Fashion Management at New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology. She then flew to Singapore immediately after to helm the marketing and public relations team of her family’s business, Uomo Group, which retails made-in-Italy luxury menswear brands like Stefano Ricci, Brioni and Uomo Collezioni in Asia. Undeniably, the business of luxury runs through her veins, and in just over a year, she has garnered quite the list of achievements under her personalised gold-accented crocodile skin belt by Billionaire Couture, a brand she spearheaded the launch of in Singapore earlier this year. Armed with features and business acumen as striking as her Fendi mini peekaboo, the 23-year-old is fast emerging as “one to watch” in both social and industry circles—and she isn’t afraid to stand out in her new rouge velvet Christian Louboutins.
