“I am very thrilled to be a part of the Fendi family as it is a brand close to my heart,” Song shared in an official statement.

“I am looking forward to the exciting journey ahead with Fendi.”

Song adds Fendi to her long list of luxury endorsement deals, including South Korean skincare brand Sulwhasoo and luxury jewellery house Chaumet.

She may have been missing from the small screen for the past couple of years since her work on Descendants of the Sun, making fans eager to see her on television again.

In a pictorial done in collaboration with Fendi for the March issue of Harper’s Bazaar Korea, the actress said: “As I age and take on older roles, I know that more expectations come with it. I used to think that acting would get easier when I get to my thirties, but I think I was more comfortable then. It gets harder and harder, and I still have a long way to go.”
