Elisa Khong

Elisa Khong shows us her current fashion obsession and shopping wish list, which includes Zuhair Murad, Jimmy Choo and Edeline Lee.

From the dandy Terimunite Chandran, who has a love for distinctive prints and silhouettes, we move on to another young personality, Elisa Khong, who has always been spotted wearing stunning outfits for the social events in town.

Believing in the need for continous developement in one's fashion sense, the Corporate Communications Director of Kechara Soup Kitchen has proven to us that she has developed an impeccable taste for fashion over the years.

Elisa says, "From being obsessed with the tribal-inclined designs of Isabel Marant to Calvin Klein’s monochromatic pieces. I’m currently appealed to anything neon!"

When not working on her projects with Kechara Soup Kitchen, which includes launching the Kechara Food Bank at SOGO departmental store, Elisa likes to fly off to London and Beijing for a little fashion indulgence.

She says, "My perfect day in London would be walking from Bond Street to Sloane Square, popping in and out of stores, while eating a cup of kimchi fried rice! Weather permitting!"

"Beijing is great for the many “underground” local designers, who come up with the most beautiful creations for both art and clothing."

Here, Elisa shares with us her latest shopping wish list, which includes classic black pumps, a two-piece look and a one-shouldered couture dress.

Edeline Lee Spring/Summer 2015 ready-to-wear collection

"There’s a balanced complement of upper soft silhouettes and lower structured tailoring, giving it an overall feminine flair. The simplicity of her two-piece looks give a lot of room to dress it up – but still holds weight if worn on its own."

Black stilettos from Jimmy Choo, Manolo Blahnik or Christian
Louboutin
"This is the year for me to find a proper elegant black stiletto! It’s so simple, yet my shoe closet has every other colour other than black! I am looking at these three labels and would get whichever that fits me best."

Zuhair Murad Autumn/Winter 2014 couture collection

'To me, there’s a type of seduction that comes from self-confidence, and Zuhair Murad’s stunning collection exudes just that. The one-shoulder long-sleeve gowns are especially appealing, as it plays on bold sophisticated construction combined soft flowing silhouette finishing.'
