Following the success of Net-a-porter’s 2018 initiative to support the humanitarian work of Women for Women International, the fashion e-tailer has chosen to continue their commitment to encourage and help the empowerment of women in this year’s International Women’s Day.
The luxury shopping site has partnered with six designers this year—Victoria Beckham, Alexa Chung, Rosie Assoulin, Isabel Marant, Kim Ellery of Ellery and Thierry Donard of Perfect Moment—to design a slogan tee that befits their interpretation of female bravery and empowerment.
Apart from lending ther creativity to the ongoing fight, the designers have also put their voices behind the cause.

I am so happy to support International Women’s Day this year by creating this ‘I am her’ tee exclusively for NET-A-PORTER. It’s more important than ever that women support each other and hopefully this aids in raising awareness for a subject close to my heart.
As part of a community of women which is now a global sisterhood, it was a great honour to be asked to design a t-shirt alongside other women who I admire to celebrate a day that marks a moment in the year when we have an opportunity to reflect how far we have come and how important it is to raise each other up in order to get where we are going.
