It's one thing to dress after a style icon, but it's quite another to actually wear her clothes. Starting February 11, you can literally put yourself in late Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Italia, Franca Sozzani's Manolo Blahnik shoes. This is thanks to her son, filmmaker and photographer Francesco Carrozzini, who has donated over 500 pieces (including Haute Couture) to YOOX to fundraise for the new Franca Sozzani Fund for Preventive Genomics at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital at Harvard.

Sozzani became a prominent figure in the fashion industry during her 28-year term at Vogue Italia, where she used her voice to tackle controversial issues including racial discrimination and the weight debate. She was also the founder of the internationally renowned concept store 10 Corso Como and a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations.

Carrozzini’s intimate biography of his mother, Franca: Chaos and Creation, published by Assouline, will also be available on YOOX starting February 11. For now, check out some of her pieces that are up for grabs in the gallery above.
