Kim Tae-Hee’s Most Stylish Looks On- and Off-Screen
Her breakout role as a villain in the classic Korean drama Stairway To Heaven may have catapulted her to fame but Kim Tae-hee is regarded as one of South Korea’s most adored and respected female stars. With multiple television roles and endorsement deals (she once earned the title of South Korea's queen of advertisements) under her belt, the 41-year-old actress is also a proud mother of two young girls, whom she shares with fellow Hallyu star Rain.
Although known as Korea’s richest celebrity couple (Their combined property ownership is worth an estimated S$98 million, according to Korean entertainment show Entertainment Weekly Live.), the A-list stars opted to wed in a low-key and private ceremony back in 2017 that was attended by close friends and family, earning widespread praise for their humility.
Besides her captivating beauty, Kim is famous for her effortless style and memorable looks—both on- and off-screen. One of her most talked-about looks dates back to 2017 when she showed up at Incheon International Airport to depart for her honeymoon wearing a fur knitted cardigan from Korean label, Obzze, and Giuseppe Zanotti ankle boots. The actress is fond of modest and sophisticated looks, with a preference for understated luxury. This is also evident in her custom-made wedding dress, which many will remember as simple and elegant. In fact, the talented actress, who graduated with a fashion design degree from the prestigious Seoul University, co-designed the mini dress with her stylist. Kim reportedly wanted a down-to-earth design that anyone could wear and did not want anything ostentatious.
