Dolce & Gabbana has set sights on winning the hearts of fashion lovers around the world with a three-day fashion event in Venice

Following Valentino and Saint Laurent’s shows in Venice, Italy, it is now Dolce & Gabbana’s turn to set sail for the historic city to present a physical haute couture show. The duo behind the beloved luxury fashion house, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, have announced that they will be back with their Alta Moda, Alta Sartoria, Alta Gioielleria and Alta Orologeria Collections next month, presenting a range of exclusive couture looks, high jewellery and timepieces to pay homage to Italian craftsmanship.

Taking place from August 28 to 30, the three-day showcase is expected to feature fashion events at multiple locations in Venice. Some of the most iconic places in the City of the Doges are served as inspirations for the unique designs—the fruits of the craftsmanship and creativity of Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, in a dialogue with the precious heritage represented by local manufacturing and artistic excellence.

“The events in Venice will be the new stage of the ideal Grand Tour of Italy that Dolce&Gabbana has undertaken since 2012, the year of the presentation of the first Alta Moda Collection in Taormina, and which visited some of the most fascinating places on the peninsula,” the designers announced in the press release.

In 2020, the fashion house unveiled their Alta Moda couture offerings via a digital show due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The collection is made unique and exclusive with careful manufacturing, beautiful fabrics and embroideries with attention to detail, so we can’t wait to see how the designers amp it up even more.
