The Italian luxury fashion house appoints K-pop sensation, Seulgi as their global brand ambassador

Since she debuted as a member of the girl group, Red Velvet in 2014, Seulgi has risen to global popularity for more than her on-stage talent and charisma. The K-pop sensation has emerged as a style icon for the younger generation, with almost 10 million followers on Instagram

That is why Salvatore Ferragamo has chosen Seulgi as their latest global ambassador and the star of their Let's Dance campaign. Wearing the spectacular shoes from their capsule collection of the same name, including a luminous ballet-inspired lace-up heel in golden nappa, Seulgi moves to the rhythm in graceful, fluid movements in an inspiring fusion of movement and fashion.

Announcing the news on her Instagram, Seulgi shares: "I am very happy to have been selected as Ferragamo's global ambassador. Please look forward to many activities with Ferragamo in the future".

Joining Seulgi as global ambassador is Chinese actress Jelly Lin, who starred in Stephen Chow's blockbuster film, The Mermaid. After many collaborative projects with the luxury fashion house since she attended their spring-summer 2018 show in Milan, the young actress—who was selected to be the face of Ferragamo's Signorina fragrance—officially joins the Ferragamo family as their global ambassador.

Both Seulgi and Jelly Lin, with their magnetic personality and impeccable style, will propel Ferragamo forward in their mission to bring contemporary culture, innovation and creativity to their heritage as an Italian luxury brand.
