Inspired by the excitement of the Himalayas, Onitsuka Tiger's latest collection was done in collaboration with Japanese designer, Toyoki Adachi

Onitsuka Tiger's Autumn/Winter 2021 collection is cooler than you might expect—literally. Inspired by the dare-do attitude of the Seventies, the brand's latest concept pays tribute to the adventurous spirit of trekking and hiking. Set amid a backdrop of the majestic Himalayas, the latest collection sees models in sartorial juxtaposition, wearing pieces that combine "vintage x art" and "analog x digital".

Aside from Onitsuka Tiger, the latest collection also comes as a triumph for designer and art director, Toyoki Adachi. He is the mind behind the fantastic graphics seen on the clothes.

Key items are made from fleece material. This ensures its wearer warmth and comfort, especially during winter mountaineering. Other pieces are made from nylon which incorporates dazzling neon colours and intricate embroidery. Puffer coats, striped jackets, and dresses play with the classic Seventies mod style.

For footwear, Onitsuka Tiger features unique designs that include boots and trainers. The HMR Peak Trainer is a trekking shoe first introduced in 1966; for this collection, the design has been updated to include more contemporary flair. The Big Logo Trainer Puffed also shows off prominent Onitsuka Tiger stripes that extend to the outer sole.
