If you think models are nothing but a pretty face, be ready to be proven wrong! Not only do they face tough competition in the industry with the likes of social media moguls and famous faces as their peers, they also have to pave their own way to becoming a model like no other.

Whilst stars like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley chose to venture into fashion designing and stayed close to their field of expertise, Karlie Kloss went on a different and unthinkable path. Karlie founded Kode with Klossy, an organization that sets up coding camps for young girls.

Similar to Reshma Saujani, founder of Girls who Code, Kalie also wants to encourage more females to pursue coding. The model and entrepreneur believes that girls are actually brilliant at coding because it is akin to other creative activities. The lack of women in the industry is something that Karlie wants to help fix by helping these girls reach their potential and their passion in the field.
