The renovation of the Chanel Suria KLCC boutique proved every inch worth the wait, when we chronicled the 5,000 sq m, 2-storey space debut. Drawing inspiration from Gabrielle Chanel’s Parisian apartment, architect Peter Marino designed the boutique to tick the timeless modernity and elegance of the brand. The ground floor features a gallery that transitions into airy and bright rooms of ready-to-wear, accessories, and a dedicated corner to watches and fine jewellery, while grand staircase leads to a salon-meets-showroom, complete with artpieces and cosy living room furnishings.

Hong Kong’s prestigious collection of timepieces and sophisticated jewellery, Emperor Watch & Jewellery, launched its first flagship store in Malaysia covering 2,012 sq ft. Since its opening in Bangsar Village, Australian fitness brand, Lorna Jane, has seen a steady stream of fitness femme into its 1,153 sq ft shop space. The open-space interior, complete with tailormade furniture, clean lines and spacious Fit Rooms, showcases bespoke collections of hi-tech performance workout apparel, numbering between 70-100 style releases each month. The space also doubles as a venue for regular in-store 'move' events.

Tailored Jewels joins a slew on online retail brands that have opened a physical storefront, and for good reason. Positioned as a service hub, the store is an expansion with jewellery repair and routine services. EP Yaying

Premium fashion label from China, EP Yaying, has landed its global store in Suria KLCC, as a starting point to the rest of the world. The 300 sq m boutique is a window to contemporary and oriental-inspired designs that are distinctly elegant. Each beautiful piece harks on the Chinese traditions of poetry, songs, painting and heritage, adapted in the trademark use of luxurious silk fabric and peony embroidery as its iconic elements.

The theme reflects the brand's history of modernity and natural elements; with an ambiance of soothing neutrals. Birch floors, muted walls and elements of oak and timber complement light boxes to create a gallery ambiance for the understated shoe collection, known for their clean designs and honest materials. The stores is a preview of the new Clarks persona slated to roll out throughout Southeast Asia.
