Clarins set up its flagship store in Mid Valley Megamall, poised as a new benchmark and pampering haven with a complete range of plant-science skincare and cosmetics. The outlet takesover 1,130 sq ft, extending from product retail space to an open spa. Outfitted with red and white décor, the store is a beckoning sight, with a touch of a wellness oasis projected from warm lights and wood floors. The shiny pitstop offers 1-on-1 consultiation via beauty advisors, who are more than eager to help customers identify products unique to their skin concerns.

Coach reopened the doors to its newly refurbished Suria KLCC store with a grand party, celebrating its new modern luxury concept. Leather and natural wood finishings bring to mind its refined New York heritage that’s luxe on the craftmanship and playful in accordance to its codes of design.

The renovation of the Chanel Suria KLCC boutique proved every inch worth the wait, when we chronicled the 5,000 sq m, 2-storey space debut. Drawing inspiration from Gabrielle Chanel’s Parisian apartment, architect Peter Marino designed the boutique to tick the timeless modernity and elegance of the brand. The ground floor features a gallery that transitions into airy and bright rooms of ready-to-wear, accessories, and a dedicated corner to watches and fine jewellery, while grand staircase leads to a salon-meets-showroom, complete with artpieces and cosy living room furnishings.

Hong Kong’s prestigious collection of timepieces and sophisticated jewellery, Emperor Watch & Jewellery, launched its first flagship store in Malaysia covering 2,012 sq ft. Endowed with a full range of unique, priceless pieces, the spacious boutique also features the latest one-of-a-kind high jewellery brand, Nuò by Cindy Yeung, who is also the brand’s multifaceted CEO. The boutique is also outfitted with a private salon, allowing VIPs the comfort of an uninterrupted shopping experience.

Since its opening in Bangsar Village, Australian fitness brand, Lorna Jane, has seen a steady stream of fitness femme into its 1,153 sq ft shop space. The open-space interior, complete with tailormade furniture, clean lines and spacious Fit Rooms, showcases bespoke collections of hi-tech performance workout apparel, numbering between 70-100 style releases each month. The space also doubles as a venue for regular in-store 'move' events.

Tailored Jewels joins a slew on online retail brands that have opened a physical storefront, and for good reason. Positioned as a service hub, the store is an expansion with jewellery repair and routine services. Adding to that is their Everyday Jewellery collection, a new addition to its original ranges of engagement and wedding bands. The minimalist and industrial-themed space offers customers a wide range of service, including jewellery resizing, engraving or polishing, and even GIA-certification of diamonds.

Qeelin, the fine jewellery brand inspired by Chinese symbolism, made its Malaysian debut with a flagship venue in Suria KLCC. A minimalist interior gives way to the luminaries of the label – artful pieces that pay tribute to ancient mythology and traditions, and basked in the Cannes red carpet spotlight. The airy, bright-lit store provokes a tranquil mood for discerning buyers as they regard and select the fine jewellery that best resonates with them.

Covering a space of 4,438 sq ft, the store carries Gucci’s new collections and a full range of men’s and women’s highlights, from luggage to leather goods, eyewear to timepieces and jewellery. The contemporary eclecticism of the interior is best experienced as you move from nooks to rooms, with a juxtaposed décor flitting that can only be described as technical-meets-romantic.

Premium fashion label from China, EP Yaying, has landed its global store in Suria KLCC, as a starting point to the rest of the world. The 300 sq m boutique is a window to contemporary and oriental-inspired designs that are distinctly elegant. Each beautiful piece harks on the Chinese traditions of poetry, songs, painting and heritage, adapted in the trademark use of luxurious silk fabric and peony embroidery as its iconic elements.

The first Shiseido boutique in Sunway Pyramid is a state-of-the-art milestone, with a striking façade of 4-sided-digital LED cube displays bound to catch the eye. Clarks achieves a new milestone with an evolutionary store concept dubbed Pure, that launched in Mid Valley Megamall. The theme reflects the brand's history of modernity and natural elements; with an ambiance of soothing neutrals. Birch floors, muted walls and elements of oak and timber complement light boxes to create a gallery ambiance for the understated shoe collection, known for their clean designs and honest materials. The stores is a preview of the new Clarks persona slated to roll out throughout Southeast Asia.
