Every year, we wait with bated breath for our esteemed guests, in all their finery, to make their grand entrance at the foyer of Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur’s Grand Ballroom. And this year was no different.
The indomitable fashion sense of KL’s high society naturally is the focal point, and we love all the #ootd from the night on our Instagram feed. And of course, seeing these outfits up close were a bonus!

We can always count on our favourite faces to flex their sartorial wings , serving a buffet of “wow” outfits we still can't get enough of. White proved to be a popular colour this year, as seen on Marion Caunter, Datin Dian Lee, Datin Nadia Hazali Mustafa, Raja Jesrina Arshad and Chrysies Tan.
Farah Khan and Jovian Mandagie were the two top favourite designers of the night. The former ticks all the right boxes for red carpet glam with its figure-accentuating and hand-sequinned numbers. The ladies in Farah Khan all looked like superstars!
Jovian’s creations this year were proudly donned by his wife Nina Ismail Sabri, Angela Karto, Muhaini Mahmud and the winner of our inaugural Women on the Rise award, Zaida Ibrahim. We are still riding on the wave of Zaida’s dramatic dress, and that shade of green is just out of this world.
