Blackpink’s Rose is not just in your area, she’s in every area: music, fashion, beauty

It goes without saying that Rose of Blackpink (alongside members Jennie, Jisoo, and Lisa) has achieved plenty in the number of years that the K-pop supergroup has been active.

From the impressive list of award nominations and wins and holding several Guinness World Records for the How You Like That music video, to making history and cementing their K-pop royalty status when they became the first K-Pop girl group to perform at Coachella, she has come a long way—and all in less than five years.

While most achievements were results of a team effort, Rose got her own spot in the limelight when she was made the global ambassador of Saint Laurent, the Parisian fashion house’s first in 59 years.

The Australian-Korean performer made her official Saint Laurent debut when she starred in the collaterals for Saint Laurent’s fall-winter 2020 campaign. She was also featured prominently across the brand’s digital platforms.

“I still can’t believe that I’m a global ambassador, representing a brand that I’ve thought was really cool for a long time. It’s an honour. I also got close to creative director Antony Vaccarello, and I’m learning a lot from his creativity, expertise, and humanity. It’s amazing to be able to work with such a wonderful person,” she gushed to Elle Korea.

Additionally, she has been made YSL Beauty’s newest muse, which puts her in the same league as her predecessors Sky Ferreira, Courtney Love, Cara Delevingne, and Zoë Kravtiz.
