While Singapore's annual F1 race is an exciting and thrilling event on its own, racing fans know that there is no other motoring event like the Monaco Grand Prix. First held in 1929 and set in the glamorous South of France, it is widely considered to be one of the most important and prestigious automobile races in the world. As invited guests of Louis Vuitton, our Tatler correspondents Kimihisa Abe and Kyoko Abe had the opportunity to view the race from a yacht in Monaco. Here's what went down.

"First stop, Cannes! From here we'll be flying to Monaco by helicopter, followed by a boat ride to the Yacht Club de Monaco."

"We experienced flying by seaplane when we were in Dubai before, but this was our first time on a helicopter—it was such an exciting experience for us!"

"Here we are at the Yacht Club de Monaco, enjoying some wine and drinks before the start of the race."

No celebration is complete without some good champagne!
