In an exclusive behind-the-scenes video, the award-winning Malaysian actress shows off her wing chun skills and shares her well-being philosophy

Michelle Yeoh has been appointed the face of Lululemon’s Lunar New Year campaign, Be Spring

In an exclusive behind-the-scenes video the athletic wear brand shared with Tatler, Yeoh shares her well-being philosophy and practises wing chun alongside dancers from the Shenzhen Opera and Dance Theatre.

In the video, the Oscar-winning actress—who’s appeared in films including Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000) and Everything Everywhere All At Once (2021)—and the dancers are dressed in pieces from the brand’s newest capsule collection.

Well-being is about “understanding and listening to your body and spirit to have balance in your life—like mother nature,” says Yeoh in the video. “Well-being is to enjoy and love what you do, to have inner spring all year round.”

Along with the Lululemon’s signature level of comfort and quality, the Be Spring collection captures its inspiration that comes from traditional Chinese design, and incorporates elements of the qipao or a scales motif to celebrate the Year of the Dragon.
