Each year, the gala follows a chosen theme, often inspired by The Costume Institute’s spring exhibitions. In line with this year’s showcase of Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion, a curation of historic garments too precious to be worn again, the gala’s theme is ‘The Garden of Time’.
