The 'Shoe for Prague' on display at the Preciosa flagship store in Prague, Czech Republic

Shortly after a high-profile collaboration with Rihanna, shoe designer Manolo Blahnik has unveiled his next extravagant project—however, they are not for sale. Valued at US$5,700, the one-of-a-kind stiletto boots are handmade with fuchsia pompoms and have more than 100 tear-drop crystal chandelier trimmings, thanks to a partnership with Preciosa Crystal.

Christened the ‘Shoe for Prague’ by Blahnik himself, the luxurious footwear was created in honour of the designer’s The Art of Shoes exhibition, which makes its stop in Prague’s Museum Kampa from August 11 to November 12, 2017.

The shoes were unveiled last week at the Preciosa flagship in Prague, Czech Republic and will be on display through November.

For this commemorative offering, Blahnik paid homage to his Czech heritage with references to Bohemian folklore. Crystal supplier Preciosa is also known for its long-standing Bohemian heritage, which lends authenticity to Blahnik’s creation.

While you won’t be getting your hands on this ultra-luxe and exclusive boots, the award-winning shoemaker will also create 20 pairs of his iconic Hangisi heels for the occasion. The limited edition jewel buckle pumps feature handmade Czech lace and Preciosa crystals, as a nod to Blahnik's roots. Each pair is tailor-made and sold only by appointment.
