Tara Basro is currently the most-talked-about actress thanks to her stellar performance in the hit box-office smash, Joko Anwar’s Pengabdi Setan. An alumnus of Gadis Sampul in 2005, Tara started her career in the film industry in 2011 playing in the movie Catatan (Harian) Si Boy. Afterwards, she was consistently cast in various Indonesian movies. In 2015, she starred in drama movie A Copy of My Mind, which was also directed by Joko Anwar, leading her to win the Citra Award for the Best Lead Actress by Festival Film Indonesia (FFI).
