Art lover and fashion designer Rajo Laurel recently released his Spring/Summer 2015 collection, Matisse.

The renowned fashion designer Rajo Laurel is, among other things, a seasoned traveler and art lover. After a visit to London and the famous Tate Modern, Laurel came home filled with inspiration from the works of Henri Matisse. What resulted was a collection of abstract and geometric patterns on canvases of fabric with larger than life prints, two-tone crepes, and printed chiffons. The collection, naturally, shares the name of the artist.

The House of Laurel Matisse range also features one-of-a-kind pieces in eight different fabrications and sizings amongst its patchwork dresses, Maxi gowns, and flowy blouses. The playful silhouettes showcase a childlike wonder in Laurel's creative process, and a cohesive concept spreads throughout his other brands: RajoMan, for the fashion-forward male; Rajo!, which is geared towards a casual sense for the younger market; and Rajito, his line of childrenswear.
