The pre-fall 2021 trend that’s perfect for Hong Kong? The season’s focus on casual, breezy suits that will keep you cool, while still looking put together

With the pre-fall 2021 collections making their way into stores right now, there’s no better time to try out one of its most relevant trends: relaxed suiting.

Take your style cues from Stella McCartney and Moschino, who are advocating for the oversized blazer—both single and double-breasted versions—paired with micro shorts, or, in Moschino’s case, with thigh-high leather boots.

Another key item in the savvy dresser’s arsenal this season is the wide-legged suit trouser—as seen at Gucci, Valentino and Alexander McQueen, to name a few. What we love about the wide-legged pant is the way it plays with proportions, and the inherent comfort it promises as we go about our day.

Colour is an equally important factor: opt for brighter shades (Versace’s electric blue is a huge plus), or lighter shades of cream and tan to keep you cool in the tropical heat.
