In Dior’s official announcement on Instagram, the label commented that Jisoo “embodies, with her singular audacity, the House’s modernity and the passionate creativity of Maria Grazia Chiuri, who was inspired by the Korean singer for her Fall 2021 collection”. “She will also perfectly incarnate the empowering makeup created by [Christian Dior makeup creative and image director] Peter Philips.”
Jisoo also expressed her excitement and enthusiasm on Instagram with a few stunning shots of her wearing Dior’s classic designs, including the Lady Dior bag and signature A-line dresses: “So thrilled to join @dior as their new global ambassador for both fashion and beauty! I can't wait for all the exciting work we'll do together!”
It’s no secret that Blackback members always stand out with their impeccable sense of style since they debuted, where other members, aside from Jisoo, have also been named brand ambassadors for luxury fashion houses and beauty brands: Jennie for Chanel, Rosé for Yves Saint Laurent and Lisa for Celine and MAC.
We can’t wait to see what the K-pop quartet has in store for fashion lovers around the world this year.
