We raid the wardrobe of our December fashion shoot

Sometimes, less really is more — and that's certainly the case with minimalist fashion. It's perfect for a classic, capsule wardrobe that won't age or lose its lustre with fading fads. However, it's all about the styling when you're stripping down to the fashion essentials.

Go back to basics with block colours, keep lines clean and play up silhouettes with tunics, and soft tailoring. The devil's in the details when you pull back on patterns, so choose delicate accessories to accentuate your pared down look.
