The pandemic has put the world to a halt affecting many industries from food & beverage to travel and the fashion industry is no exception. Fashion brands have been forced to rethink of some creative ways to present their new collection as runway shows come to a stop. Fashion weeks, whether it's Paris, New York or Milan, have resorted to the same creative means. But with the world slowly recovering and vaccines becoming readily available to most parts of the world, it seems we're going back to some sort of normalcy and with that the comeback of in-person shows.

Among them is Gucci, who just revealed its upcoming fashion show will be held in Los Angeles. Creative director Alessandro Michele will present his new collection on November 3, 2021 as part of the series of happenings and unveiling in the fashion house's centenary year.

The return to the United States is the first time in six years after Michele's first cruise runway show in New York City at the Dia-Art Foundation. The creative director chose Los Angeles as it's a city that continues to provide him with a constant source of inspiration. It has also played a significant role in Gucci's hundred-year history.

Previously, the brand tried to present its collection in San Francisco but did not go through due to the pandemic. The upcoming fashion show will coincide with the occasion of the 10th LACMA Art+Film Gala which takes place on November 6. Gucci is the founding and presenting sponsor of the event.

At the moment, not many details have been revealed yet so we have to stay tuned to find out more.
