Givenchy creative director Sarah Burton spotlights her latest collection, headlined by the Pinch Bag, through the lens of the people around her

Givenchy ventures toward modern femininity and timeless elegance once more with its latest fall-winter 2025 lineup. Designed by creative director Sarah Burton, this collection, headlined by the Pinch Bag, highlights timeless beauty and elegance through the faces of exceptional women—not just those in front of the camera lens—but those behind it as well.

“The beauty of all women inspires me, including my team,” Burton enthuses. “I wanted to capture the brilliant women I work with amongst the cast—real moments with everyone working together.” These include her long-term stylist Camilla Nickerson and makeup artist Lucia Pieroni, as well as the models and talents present. It is their personalities that make the collection stand out all the more with resounding authenticity.

Debuting in Givenchy’s fall-winter 2025 collection is the Pinch Bag, first seen on the Paris runway. This mini handbag is designed with the lives of contemporary, trailblazing women in mind—a reflection of the fashion house’s refinement and innate strength. Its body is crafted from textured leather with nappa lining, coupled with golden accents for an elegant finish. It can be carried and styled two ways for versatility: through its top handles or with a Givenchy-embossed crossbody strap. Its main compartment is opened with a discreet magnetic closure for effortless, graceful access.

Burton also takes inspiration from rediscovered calico patterns by founder Hubert de Givenchy. These patterns, codes and motifs are subtly seen throughout the fall-winter 2025 collection as a meaningful homage. With its name prominently printed on the side, the Givenchy Paris 1952 pochette—which comes in both leather and satin—features three compartments with irregular stitching, referencing the patterns of the founder’s first collection.

Burton’s fall-winter collection effortlessly captures the energy of femininity, its pieces an apt fit for women of modernity and sophistication. It is through a blend of hues, textures and styles, executed with restraint, that Givenchy maintains its irresistible and inimitable place in our wardrobes.

In the Philippines, Givenchy is exclusively distributed by Stores Specialists, Inc and is located at Shangri-La Plaza Mall East Wing, Greenbelt 4 and Solaire Resort Entertainment City. Visit ssilife.com.ph or follow @ssilifeph on Instagram for more information.
