T-shirts are a classic fashion choice. They're easy to style, and even the most luxurious of designers have showcased their take on it. Today, we give our top tips on how to style this wardrobe essential to make it a whole lot more exciting than you think.

Wear it oversized

KENZO's latest collection, Re/KENZO features a line of gender-fluid casual tees in a rainbow of colours. Their tiger insignia appears in cameo print amid a backdrop of almond green, fuchsia, grey, or khaki. Because of its unisex design, women might prefer to style this as an oversized tee. Play with proportions and with silhouettes by donning it over loose pants; pair with heels to create a casual look that's laidback but too lazy.

Crop it

We love a good crop top. Some tees come in this cut, while others you may want to DIY. It's a fairly simple process—all you need is a measuring tape and some scissors, and voila! A Sofia Resing fashion week-inspired look.

Style it as a dress

For something sultry, wear a t-shirt as a dress. Have none of your own? Raid your dad's, brother's, or boyfriend's closet. Accessorise with multiple necklaces to add a feminine touch.

Add some knots

This might take a bit more practice but trust us, it's worth it: learn how to tie your tees! There are multiple ways on how to do this and YouTube or Tiktok may be a good resource. If you haven't mastered how to manipulate the cloth yet, we suggest adding a blazer or jacket to hide awkward folds. No one will ever know—but you'll still look fabulous.
