The most recent women’s collection is a celebration of leather and rich hues
Hermès presents a new theme for its collection each season, placing value in persistently enriching and renewing the brand’s colour palette, textures and shapes. The latest womenswear catalogue pays homage to the house’s founder Thierry Hermès, who crafted high quality leather goods for the carriage trade. The equestrian inspired collection featured no shortage of riding caps, quilted overcoats and sleek boots. A fiery colour palette evokes an autumnal energy in feminine silhouettes to achieve a contemporary and timeless collection.

Monochromatic silhouettes
Incandescent shades of red and browns dominate this season, accompanied by softer hues of rose gold and yellow that are reminiscent of the sky at dawn. No matter the tone, each ensemble was decidedly monochrome—a sophisticated shifting palette of colours that ensured each vibrant look stood out.
Warm textures
Cashmere and alpaca wool featured heavily in this year’s collection, creating soft and sensual shapes in the form of sweaters, overcoats and dresses. This season saw models draped in voluminous layers that added a touch of softness to the tall, riding boots that completed the outfits. The collars on some pieces unfurl into scarves, adding another layer of sophistication in its design.
Metallic hues
Silk was another design motif present throughout the collection, in the form of pleated plissé wrap dresses and blouses. The metallic silk and beads cling to the body and sparkle with every movement, revealing the texture through its iridescent glow.
