Two cult favourites join together to create a LEGO-inspired Adidas Superstar sneaker
LEGO and Adidas have teamed up to create two new collectables—one to build, and another to wear.
Sportswear giant, Adidas, has reinvented the Superstar sneaker in honour of LEGO. Instantly recognisable on the new footwear is LEGO's distinct brick shape. Named the LEGO Superstar sneaker, it features the classic white and black leather construction with the hallmark custom three stripes, shell toe, and heel tab, all of which have been designed to emphasise the LEGO brick.

Meanwhile, LEGO pays tribute to Adidas with their own version of footwear, one that you or your family can build together. The LEGO set includes all the pieces that allow you to create an original Superstar sneaker complete with shell toe shape, trefoil logo, and the three stripes mark. "It was a fun challenge to translate this into the LEGO System in Play, which by nature is square and blocky," says Florian Müller, Senior Designer of the LEGO Group.
"Thanks to the Superstar team at Adidas Originals, it’s been a super collaborative process with valuable insights shared about the art of shoemaking, and now we just look forward to seeing how fans will take to the model, customising it in their own unique and wonderful ways.”
