From September 6 to 9, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council’s annual fashion celebration pays tribute to Asia’s brightest emerging designers through the theme ‘Radiant Wellness’
For those looking to stay on the pulse of the city’s most creative emerging designers, fashion event Centrestage is the ultimate hub. Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the project provides a launch and marketing platform to empower growing local brands and designers. The annual affair never fails to entice the city’s most ambitious and exciting talent, as well as attract fashion buyers, media and fashion aficionados from all over the world.
This year marks the eighth edition of the project, which is anchored by the unique theme, Radiant Wellness, and is divided into three zones: Allure, focusing on craftsmanship and refinement; Iconic, rooted in avant-garde designs; and Metro, highlighting casual, urban expressions. Artificial intelligence will also be weaved throughout this year’s showcase, illustrating the very latest in design innovation.
With more than 200 brands participating, there are myriad designers to see and explore. These are three designers on the rise taking part in this year’s showcase.
