Cover Jennie is the new face of the Chanel 22 bag

The Blackpink singer joins Lily Rose-Depp, Margaret Qualley and Whitney Peak as ambassadors of this coveted Chanel accessory

Known for her cosmopolitan and chic style, Jennie has been the epitome of the Chanel girl since she was appointed its global brand ambassador in 2017. It was evident during her last appearance at the French luxury maison's fall/winter 2023 ready-to-wear show in Grand Palais Éphémère in Paris where she stepped out in a sleek, all-white ensemble with an elegant pearl belt and inconspicuous face bandage, which became viral fashion moment in itself.

Her It girl status is further solidified with her latest appointment as the face of the Chanel 22 bag. She stars in a continuation of Inez and Vinoodh's campaign, which has already shown us Lily-Rose Depp, Margaret Qualley, and Whitney Peak in Los Angeles, Palm Springs and New York respectively. For Jennie, she poses in the streets of Seoul holding a mini version of Chanel's youthful bag.

"Inez and Vinoodh call me ‘My Girl’. It’s comforting because they see me as a young woman, not just 'Jennie' in the spotlight. As a member of Blackpink, I’m constantly in the spotlight, but these images are an accurate representation of who I really am," she says.
