As previously announced, the Balmain fashion house is now confirmed as a guest member of January's Paris Haute Couture Week schedule

French fashion's governing body, the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture, has chosen Balmain as January's guest on the haute couture schedule, seeing the fashion house return to the Paris haute couture scene after a 16-year hiatus.

The French fashion house's creative director, Olivier Rousteing, will present his new "44 François Premier" collection of creations designed for red carpet events, launched for the first time in January, 2018.

This will be Balmain's first haute couture show since 2002 and since the departure of the creative director of the time, Oscar de la Renta.

Paris Haute Couture Week runs January 21-24, 2018. Other guest members for this edition include Aganovich, Antonio Grimaldi, Iris van Herpen, Guo Pei, Ralph & Russo, Azzaro Couture, and Xuan.
