A shirt and a pair of shorts, a shirt and a pair of slacks. What I wear has to contribute immensely to a bigger aspect of my daily life. I really don’t think much about my “outfits” and because of this, I cannot remember which outfits are favorites, which outfits I wore where, which outfits I wore when. I found myself dressing up in a more relaxed manner last year. I now prefer breathable fabrics, lesser accessories, not so close to the body type of silhouettes. I guess the outfit I wore last year that gathered the most compliment was a black and white striped beribboned back dress that had white beautiful layers of lace at the bottom. It was from Betina Spring/Summer ‘17. I paired it with a sexy espadrilles by Christian Loubutin. The look was so French Provincial and I loved it too!

Who are your favourite designers?

I have been a big fan of Dries Van Noten for the longest time. His use of prints and colors always excite me.... very romantic! However, I have been loving the work of Joseph Font for Delpozo for his brave use of clashing muted or bold colors and whimsical designs... so classic but young!

I am still looking closely at Miraslova Duma.

Do you collect accessories/clothing/brands? What kind and why?

I have been collecting vintage jewellery specially crosses since I was 18 years old. I also love collecting vintage clothing but only from my favorite designers and their best collections. Although I can’t afford, of course, to buy all the ones I salivate in their couture collections (they are not often found in vintage stores anyways and so ridiculously priced at Didier Ludot in Palais Royal, Paris) I always always search for the most interesting designs from their prêt-à-porter collection (I mostly find them in Resurrection, New York). If I need to mention a few of my favorites: I am a proud owner of an Azzedine Alaïa gown that was shown in his 1996 exhibition in Palazzo Corsini. I also love the vintage Codognato blackamoor pair brooch I bought in their original store in Venezia. What an experience to purchase something in one of the oldest surviving stores in the world (150 years old). Why? because I have three creative daughters who love to shoplift them from my closet!

I enjoy a white holiday and love to dress for the cold. This Christmas was special; we dressed up and heard mass at the church I got married in followed by a delicious brunch in a Parisian hotel.
