Adidas has unveiled two new collections to celebrate this year's Roland Garros tournament, set to take place in Paris May 27 to June 10, 2018.

The first collection, Roland Garros Line, has been inspired by the elegant style of past tennis icons and as an homage to Roland Garros's reputation as the 'fashion tournament.'

It will be worn on court by leading tennis stars including Jelena Ostapenko, Angelique Kerber, Sascha Zverev, Dominic Thiem and Jo Wilfried Tsonga, and has been created with innovative design and high performance fabrics to boost players' performance as well as their style credentials.

Adidas's famous Clima technologies, which use ultra-breathable, moisture-wicking fabrics and aluminum cooling spheres, will keep athletes cool and comfortable in the summer sun and help them to reach their potential on court.

A navy base color and tricolor trims are a nod to France and classic tennis looks of the past, while modern silhouettes for both men and women update the look for the 2018 tournament.

In addition, adidas by Stella McCartney has also unveiled its latest Barricade collection, set to be worn on court  by Caroline Wozniacki and Garbine Muguruza during the upcoming competition.

As with the Roland Garros Line, the Barricade collection also uses Climachill technology to keep athletes cool and incorporates practical design innovations such as unique scuba-style zippers, laser cuts, and inserts along the arm holes and side for extra breathability, and to fuse both fashion and performance.

Both collections will be available online from this week at www.adidas.com/tennis.
