Fashion brands come and go, but these disruptive labels are style dictators, fashion-forecasters and trendsetters ready to change the men’s fashion landscape this year. Move over Gucci and Saint Laurent, here are seven up-and-coming fashion brands for men to own in 2019:

If you’re a fan of vintage interiors and antique styles, then you’ll love Bode. Born in New York by the hand of Emily Adams Bode, the American designer’s taste for 19th- and 20th-century fabrics and quilts—and vintage fabrics’ longevity—is the basis of this textile-inspired clothing line that only started in 2016.

Bode recreates collegiate-inspired elements including regatta stripes, while herringbone wools are added to with patchwork and embroidery for tailoring that utile yet soft. Be sure to check out Bode’s chore coats too.

Marine Serre is quickly becoming a household name in her native France. Following fashion internships with Alexander McQueen, Maison Margiela, Dior and Balenciaga, the Parisienne went on to win the LVMH-backed emerging design award in 2017 for her now established namesake label. And here’s why.

Serre’s style is an attractive tension of aesthetics: old pieces are reimagined into something new; utility items are refined and made elegance; athleticism collides with luxury design. Be sure to check out Serre’s Hardcore Couture line, which drops this season and features digital-graphic bombers, neoprene tops and psychedelic pointed boots.
