Kuala Lumpur’s K-pop lovers have been absolutely spoiled—especially the devoted fans of Blackpink.

This June, Rosé’s Rosie Pop-Up Store landed in the Malaysian capital, bringing a flurry of pink-hued photo ops and coveted merch to The Exchange TRX. But this isn’t the first time a Blackpink member has sparked pandemonium in KL.

From Jennie’s dreamy Jentle Salon to Jisoo’s cinema-themed Amortage showcase, here’s a quick look back at the three unforgettable pop-up moments that had Malaysian BLINKs queueing in style.

Jennie Kim’s third collab with Gentle Monster finally made its long-awaited Malaysian debut last July—and it was pure fantasy. As the 12th and final city on its global tour, KL welcomed the whimsical Jentle Salon experience, complete with a blue-maned unicorn, pastel-pink capybara, and photo-friendly installations galore.

Beyond the visuals, fans flocked to snap up the customisable eyewear collection—featuring eight frame styles and 11 adorable charms, including crystal hearts and a fuzzy charm named ‘Cooing’.

ROSÉ’S ROSIE POP-UP: Pink pop royalty hits KL (June 2025)

Although Rosé didn’t appear in person, her Rosie Pop-Up Store brought her signature style straight to Kuala Lumpur in June 2025. The immersive space featured three photogenic zones, from a recreation of her APT. music video set to a mirrored playlist wall.

Limited-edition merchandise—from socks and candles to tattoo stickers and cheeky shot glasses—flew off the shelves, while fans who splurged were rewarded with exclusive photocards and spin-to-win prizes. For once, being a collector truly paid off.

JISOO’S AMORTAGE POP-UP: Lights, love, and limited merch (March 2025)

Before Rosé’s takeover, it was Jisoo who lit up Sunway Pyramid with her Amortage pop-up in March.

Timed with her solo mini-album release, the cinema-inspired experience offered photocard sets, apparel, posters and more. Though Malaysia didn’t make the cut for her Lights, Love, Action! Asia tour, this pop-up gave fans a small but meaningful slice of the Jisoo experience—and of course, a chance to stock up on exclusive pins and tees.

Will Lisa Be Next?

While Jennie, Jisoo, and Rosé have each left their mark in KL, one Blackpink member remains noticeably absent. Lisa’s Asia fan tour in late 2024 included Bangkok, Singapore, and Jakarta—but not Malaysia.

Could a Lisa-themed pop-up or visit be on the horizon? For now, Malaysian BLINKs wait patiently... with their wallets at the ready.
