Dolce & Gabbana

Hit a style home run with Dolce & Gabbana. The Sicilian duo offers a baseball-esque navy bomber that’s made from wool, and comes embroidered with golden licks for some glint just above the wrist. Broadening the shoulder, the jacket is lightly padded throughout the body too and boasts ribbed details at the collar and cuff—a retro gameplay that’s sure to win. White sneakers are a must with this jacket.

Gucci

Head back to school with Gucci’s corduroy varsity jacket. With contrast beige sleeves and plum trim, the forest green bomber boasts the maison’s angry cat embroidery for fall. It’s a much more romantic version of American college football style, though it is crowned with a ‘Modern Future’ catchcry, sporting a pink quilted satin silk lining and symmetrical peonies planted on the jacket front.

AMI

Camel is key this season and Parisian designer, Alexandre Mattiusi of AMI, works the colour into his cotton twill Harrington for AMI's fall collection. With an extendable funnel neck and pouchy five-pocket functional design, the elasticated waist and cuffs are cool casual jacket cues, too.

Fear of God

When your average denim jacket just doesn’t feel luxe enough, there’s Fear of God. Made with an alpaca fleece lining, the vintage indigo trucker jacket from the Los Angeles cult label is cut from the smoothest selvedge denim. The cropped, boxy length and slim sleeves combine the best of bygone denim eras, too. Pair with dark jeans and a plain tee for double-denim that works.

Barbour

What happens when British heritage collides with Japanese cool? Barbour has come under the style spell of Junya Watanabe for a Japanese-made waxed-cotton jacket panelled with traditional tweed. Fashioned with contrast black leather sleeves, the essential field coat is finished with several pockets and Barbour’s signature corduroy collar in dark brown for softness around the neck.

Loewe

Loewe’s multicolour tartan patchwork jacket is perfectly prepped for the upcoming season. With a black base hue, the red and white checked jacket features a spread collar and button fastening at the front and is cut like a typical trucker jacket—short and sweet. Plus, the jacket is unlined too, making it wonderfully lightweight for fall. We’re talking less than 1kg.

Saint Laurent

If you follow fashion, then you’re probably a fan of Saint Laurent's iconic black motorcycle jacket. Now, the Parisian house has revved-up the leather jacket classic for fall. All of the mainstays are there: that statement collar and shoulder epaulettes, asymmetrical front zip closure and iconic metallic hardware. But you’ll riot over the embroidered patches that come colourfully stamped over the slightly worn calfskin jacket.
