One flower, four very different bouquets
The style of your bridal bouquet is just as important as the flowers you choose, and there's no reason your wedding flowers can't be as unique as you. We chat with Hong Kong florist and all-around bouquet expert, Gemma Hayden Blest, who shows us four different takes on everyone’s favourite, the long-stem rose.

1. Romantic blossoms

This bouquet mixes roses with ruscus vines and lilac blossoms so that it cascades down the bride’s hands. It's an ideal match for a bohemian-style dress with lace and embroidery.
2. Simple and sweet

These long-stem roses are kept in a simple, classic bouquet wrapped with a thick silk ribbon in white. Clean and structural styles like this suit a wide variety of dresses.
3. Green queen

This option goes big on greenery, pairing roses with green ranunculuses and a variety of ferns. Roses are used sparingly and the delicate look of the ferns makes this bouquet perfect for gowns featuring fine lace.
4. Statement piece

Here, some of the rose petals are folded out to make them appear bigger. They’re mixed with orchids and pale pink anthuriums to create a heavier look that matches well with a dress done in solid silk or one with modern, bias-cut tailoring.
