An omakase menu, live demonstrations and a skincare ritual built on lymphatic science—an evening that reminded us about the importance of slowing down with Clé de Peau Beauté

Skincare that works tends not to need much explaining. Clé de Peau Beauté’s Synactif collection has spent two decades proving that point—building its following through facialists’ recommendations and the curiosity that follows when someone’s skin simply looks better than it did before. The evening Tatler Singapore hosted with the Japanese luxury beauty brand to explore the range felt entirely in that spirit.

The collection’s philosophy is rooted in supporting the skin’s lymphatic system—the body’s waste management network—to enhance its natural detoxification and renewal. When lymphatic circulation slows, the skin loses its ability to clear metabolic waste efficiently, leading to dullness, puffiness and impaired cellular renewal. Synactif’s six-step ritual, built around the proprietary Purifying Beautifier complex, works directly with these processes rather than around them.

Andrea Saadan, Tatler Singapore’s senior digital and branded content editor, opened proceedings before handing the floor to Elaine Low, marketing manager at Shiseido Singapore. A 30-minute product demonstration followed, taking guests through the six core steps of the Synactif regime, designed to be worked into the skin using lymphatic drainage techniques. A 45-minute consultation and product experience session followed, giving guests the chance to test the range firsthand and learn the massage methods that improve results when practised consistently at home.

An early dinner was served at Zuicho, Clé de Peau Beauté’s chosen setting within Mandarin Oriental, with a three-course omakase menu curated for the occasion. Guests began with sesame tofu, fig and persimmon with sesame sauce, before a main of grilled salmon and belt fish tempura alongside tuna sashimi and ikura rice. Brown sugar warabimochi closed the meal—an unhurried end to an evening that had moved between science and pleasure with some ease.

Clinical trials support what users have long reported: within two weeks of consistent use, skin hydration increases measurably, and by four weeks, 85 per cent of trial participants observed significant changes in their skin. These are the numbers behind a collection that has never needed to lead with them.

The Synactif range by Clé de Peau Beauté is available at Clé de Peau Beauté counters in Singapore.
