The latest addition to the skincare brand’s Sisleÿa L’Intégral Anti-Âge range works on the regenerative ability of skin cells to revive tired-looking skin

The last quarter of the year is filled with anticipation for the festive season but also fatigue from all the ups and downs of the past nine to ten months, with most people eager for a break at the end of the year to recharge and rejuvenate. The same can happen for to your skin—no matter how much you invest in a good skincare product or in time spent on a daily routine, at certain times of the year your skin is bound to look lacklustre.

La Cure by Sisley, the latest addition to its Sisleÿa L’Intégral Anti-Âge range, is designed to tackle signs of ageing and tired-looking skin. Sisleÿa was inspired by a discovery from the winner of the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 2016, that the mitochondria in cells can destroy parts of it that is dying or defective so as not to affect the rest of the cell.

The mitochondria lie in the heart of skin cells and is in charge of taking energy from the food we eat and turning it into energy that the skin cells can use to regenerate. Sisleÿa La Cure is formulated to enhance the mitochondria’s functions—by protecting the mitochondria, improving the mitochondrial network, and helping it to eliminate any part that is damaged, thus helping to boost skin cell renewal and revive tired-looking skin.

Sisleÿa La Cure is formulated with 19 powerful plant extracts that include gingko biloba leaf, mariposa blanca rhizome, peony, Persian acacia, Centella asiatica and more. It is meant to be a month-long treatment, with each pack containing four bottles, one to be used each week.

You should start to see a difference by week one, as the La Cure formula works on revitalizing skin cells and its energy levels for more radiant-looking skin. By week two, your skin will start to look softer and smoother as the formula works on eliminating dead parts of the skin cells. Week three is all about protecting the now healthy skin cells, which will help improve your skin’s elasticity and stave away signs of ageing. The last week of the treatment wraps up all the good work that La Cure has done over the past few weeks, resulting in skin that is glowing and invigorated.

Once the month-long treatment is done, you can go back to your usual skincare routine. Ideally, Sisleÿa La Cure should be used twice a year, either when changes to the season and weather are wreaking havoc on your skin or when your skin is looking tired and in dire need of a pick-me-up. Because, just like all of us needs a break from time to time to recharge our batteries, so does our skin.
