1. Fenty Skin

Rihanna made waves when she first released her Fenty make-up line, introducing all-inclusive makeup products which boasted forty foundations shades. Last year, the singer went one step further and launched Fenty Skin, a gender-neutral skincare line.

Packaged in a minimalistic, lilac colour, her skincare line includes everything from cleanser, pore-refining toner serum, eye cream, overnight recovery cream and a moisturiser with SPF for the daytime.

2. Lauren Conrad Beauty

Former reality TV star, Lauren Conrad released her namesake beauty brand, Lauren Conrad Beauty last August, offering a line of vegan, ethically sourced, clean beauty products. The line includes all your makeup essentials: liquid eyeliner, eyeliner pencil, a neutral eyeshadow palette, mascara, blush, lip & cheek tint, lipstick and a pink-hued lip gloss.

The star also released a clean beauty skincare line that echoes the same ethics, even offering a k-beauty inspired makeup removing balm for all your double-cleansing needs.

3. Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez released Rare Beauty, her first-ever make-up line last September. Her line consists of a wide range of products as well as less common formulas and items like liquid eyeshadow, liquid-like cream blush, refillable blotting paper touch-up kits, and more.

While the packaging also features the same minimalistic pattern seen in most brands nowadays, the circular, decorative ball that’s seen on some of Rare Beauty’s products, such as the foundation and concealer give the packaging a unique, distinctive edge.

4. Happy Dance

Happy Dance, Kristen Bell’s CBD line with Lord Jones was inspired by her own discovery of the popular ingredient. After falling in love with CBD thanks to Lord Jones, the actress reached out to the brand for a collaboration.

Two years later, Happy Dance was born. From CBD bath bombs, body butter and CBD-infused all-in-one coconut balm,  the products are as functional as they are colourful.

5. Humanrace

Everyone was surprised when musician Pharrell Williams launched his skincare line, Humanrace last November. It’s a rare (but encouraged) sight for male celebrities to release beauty-related products and people were quick to order his products to give it a try.

Humanrace’s three products include the Rice Powder Cleanser, which comes dry and activates when mixed with water; the Lotus Enzyme Exfoliant chemical peel that’s formulated with glycolic acid; and the Humidifying Cream, a moisturiser with snow mushroom extract that’ll give you the same hydrating benefits as hyaluronic acid.

6. Keys Soulcare

Alicia Keys dropped her skincare line, Keys Soulcare in December 2021 after drawing headlines for going bare skin on the red carpet. Aiming to encourage people to become more mindful about what they put on and inside their bodies, Keys Soulcare is a cruelty-free line Keys designed with dermatologist Renee Snyder.

The brand’s Skin Transformation Cream includes malachite, an opaque, green mineral that’s known for its transformation energy, use it alongside the Obsidian Facial Roller, which will help the skin absorb the product better.

7. About-Face

Before everyone even got into the groove of 2021, Halsey dropped About-Face, a makeup brand that hopes to help with self-expression and break beauty rules. Pushing societal boundaries for day-to-day make-up, Halsey made the announcement about her makeup line on Instagram, rocking a bold liner and bangs.

Channel her confidence by trying the brand’s liquid highlighter, Light Lock Highlight Fluid, and rock a bright lip with one of the six Paint-It Matte Lip colours.

8. JLo Beauty

Jennifer Lopez teased us with her anti-ageing skincare line in 2020 and on the first of January, JLo Beauty was finally made available online. Targeted for more mature skin, the most anticipated release includes That JLo Glow, a multitasking serum that promises to lift and tighten the skin’s appearance, and as the name states—give you that JLo glow.

Other products also come in the same golden-toned packaging such as the gel-cream cleanser, complexion booster, eye cream, SPF moisturiser and sheet mask.

9. Hailey Bieber

While Hailey Bieber has not announced anything on her social media platforms, TMZ recently reported that Bieber filed a trademark for a beauty brand named after the celebrity’s middle name, Rhode.

Covering wellness merch, bath and shower products, skincare, personal cleaning products, cosmetics and more. With no plans set in stone just yet, there is however an Instagram account with the handle @rhode that has 15.1k followers.
