The Met Gala 2021, happening at New York City's Metropolitan Museum of Art, is held on September 13, 5:30pm EST. Originally held on the first Monday in May, the star-studded event was postponed due to Covid-19.
This theme for this year, "In America: A Lexicon of Fashion," honours the Costume Institute's 75th anniversary as well as their newest exhibition which opens to the public in the Anna Wintour Costume Center on September 18.
