Chanel brings Marilyn Monroe back to life in the latest campaign of the iconic perfume, Chanel No. 5.

Chanel No. 5 has always been on the frontier of the perfume industry with its iconic campaigns like Baz Luhrmann's short film with Nicole Kidman or enlisting Brad Pitt as its first male ambassador for the perfume. Now another breakthrough comes its way with the announcement of Marilyn Monroe as the new face of the Chanel No. 5 perfume.

In 1960s, Marilyn Monroe famously said, "What do I wear in bed? Why, Chanel No. 5, of course."

The new campaign is set to launch in the November 17 and Chanel has already posted a sneak peek of the cover girl in a 2 minute-long film featuring snippets of Marilyn Monroe with Chanel No. 5 along with an interview of her, recorded in the 1960s.

The “Marilyn and N°5” video is part two of a larger 'Inside Chanel' campaign that is available at www.inside-chanel.com. The 'Inside Chanel' campaign is a ongoing web series created to educate the world on Chanel's rich history, starting from the life of founder Coco Chanel, the history of Chanel No. 5, leading up to an insight of the brand by current creative director, Karl Lagerfeld.
