The star ingredient in the Caviar Pearl Infusion—Swiss Golden Caviar Minerals—is as glamorous and powerful as the name suggests. Extracted from caviar fragments, these enzymes activate antioxidants in the skin, helping to fight oxidative stress, a key contributor to developing yellow, red and brown skin pigmentation.
Aside from the caviar mineral, the serum is also made with La Prairie’s Lumidose molecule, the outcome of 15 years of research. Preventing tyrosinase, the enzyme responsible for the brown pigment melanin, Lumidose also helps target redness and skin greyness.
To help the serum seep into the skin more effectively, La Prairie has developed a double encapsulation technology which allows Lumidose to modulate the skin’s barrier function and deliver the product to the deepest layer of the skin, where the formation of melanin takes place.
