Kirsten Dunst for L'Oréal Professionnel

L'Oréal Professional's newest and first spokesperson is none other than feisty natural beauty, Kirsten Dunst.

Born in New Jersey, USA and of German origin, Kirsten Dunst certainly is someone who wears many hats, each decorated with an even wider array of feathers. As an actress, she has acted alongside some of the biggest names in Hollywood, among them Martin Scorcese, Brad Pitt and Viggo Mortensen. Her own name is one that is equally familiar on the silverscreen, having secured crucial roles from when she was as young as eight years old.

Her versatility and ability to embody even the most difficult characters is mirrored by her personal style, both in her everyday life and on red carpets. Ever bold to experiment with her hair, she has effortlessly pulled off the most colourful spectrums of hairstyles. From smooth and sophisticated waterfall locks, to spunkier and edgier pixie crops, she has made them all work, each regardless of colour, length or texture, complementing her elfin features perfectly.

With her keen enthusiasm to embrace new looks just as easily as she slips into a new role for her next movie, it is no surprise that L'Oréal Professionnel has handpicked her to be its new face for its range of haircare products. We speak to the winner of the 2011 Cannes Film Festival for Best Actress award to find out how she feels about being the brand's newest and first ever human personification.
