The Chinese superstar came on board in time for the upcoming launch of Neocream

Chinese actor and singer Jackson Yee just got a promotion from Armani Beauty. Following his role as ambassador for Giorgio Armani Make-Up in China, he now assumes the global ambassador role for Armani Beauty's Make-Up and Skincare. The announcement arrived ahead of the May launch of Neocream, a liquid-to-cream solution under the iconic Crema Nera range. Neocream's advanced formula improves skin's resilience and restores complexion to a healthier state. 

According to the press statement, Yee embodies Neocream's values of resilience, fluidity and adaptability. Renowned British photographer Tom Munro shot the campaign, which will be fully unveiled in May.

In recent years, the beauty industry has been paying attention to a burgeoning Asian male audience with skincare and even make-up designed specifically for them. South Korean actor Lee Dong-wook was the face of Boy de Chanel, the French house's first make-up line for men, while Gong Yoo parlayed his Train to Busan fame into a lucrative deal with La Mer. China's Kris Wu plugged for Lancôme while Xiao Zhan was the face for Olay.

Yee, who is the male lead in Oscar-nominated Hong Kong film Better Days, is also the global ambassador for Emporio Armani fashion since August 2020. As a testament to his vast influence, he was ranked number one on Forbes China's Celebrity 100 List in 2020.
